MINDLABS had its inaugural sports day on 23^rd July 2016 (Saturday). It was a perfect sunny morning and the brightest green grass ever on the field. Children aged 3 to 10 all were present with zeal to participate in the events organized. We had a great and healthy start with Good Day Fresh (our official sponsors). The field was decorated with wonderful arc of balloons and 100 helium balloons of green, blue and orange in colour representing the three houses.

The kindergarten started the event with their wonderful welcome dance, the dance number was followed by dance of all the primary kids.

The children also depicted yoga postures and their benefits stupendously as part of the sports itinerary.

Events were divided into two groups’ individual and house (Dragon, Griffin and Unicorn). The house games included hula hoop dragging with ball race, mini hurdles, blindfolds and bean balancing. Individual games were relay, relay baton and athletics 30, 50 and 100 m dash.

However, it was not all fun and play as one of our staff Mr. Kunalan was seriously injured from a ligament injury whilst participating in the 100m race. He was treated by our paramedics team that was on standby with an ambulance immediately .
