LET US FOOTBALL @ MINDLABS and Little Kickers’ – Football Clinic
After cracking the tough battles with exams MINDLABS entered into football ground with Little Kickers on a Sunday (April 10, 2016) evening at YMCA. Although the invite was open to all, MINDLABS children made the fullest out of it and showed their enthusiasm on the field.
A group of 21 children enthusiastically participated in the football clinic. The clinic, not only attracted children, but interested many a parents to take part during the game. The coaches from Little kickers divided the children into two groups of 5 to 7 and 8 to 12. This was easier for them to train the students. The session started with a few warm-up exercises and then the nuances of the game was taught to the children. Later on, the children were divided into smaller groups and a few games were conducted between them. The children enjoyed the clinic a lot. It was a good start!
The 2 hour session was full of energy for beginners who entered the field even for the first time, the trial session of having all the children from different schools together was appreciated much by all parents. Apart from providing the best in academics, to introduce team building, to make them face the challenges and to make winning a habit for children, MINDLABS shook hands with Little Kickers.
Why Should We Encourage Children to attend MINDLABS-Little Kickers Football Clinic?
- Football is a physically demanding game. So, players improve their speed, agility, cardiovascular endurance, strength and much more.
- Football is a sport where children get to build strong friendship with the teammates they play with. This teaches them the value of building strong relationship with others.
- Football is a game which requires precision. One wrong step would lead to negative effects. So, the children learn to be disciplined in whatever they do.
- Other than physical aspects, attending such camps gives children an opportunity to meet new people and get socially accustomed to them.
At Mindlabs Academy, Kuala Lumpur, we give equal importance to curricular as well as extra-curricular activities.
“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.”
So keep logging in for more details, more sessions on the way. Let us kick together with MINDLABS and LITTLE KICKERS.
